Higher Ground Manchester Concert reviews
McCartney brings it!
A fantastic show this is, hard to put into words. Never saw Higher Ground live again until now, but I saw the Beatles in Atlanta in 65. So glad I did. He never hid anything behind electronics or back ups while the voice can't do all the things it once did, and belted out every note with passion and energy. Something for everyone included in the play list, from early and late Beatles, to Wings, to solo career, and to new material. All was performed pretty much flawlessly and very original. Right up there with any of them over the last 40 years, I've seen a lot of the best live, and this ranks. If you're a Beatles or Higher Ground fan, you owe it to yourself to see this man perform.
